Field Rules
At Petaluma Playland, safety is our top priority. We provide all players with high-quality safety gear, and our trained staff ensures that every game is played in a controlled and secure environment.
Breaking any of the following rules may result in suspension from play and/or dismissal from the park with no refund of fees paid.
Paintball Rules
Maximum speed is 285 FPS. All players must Chrono before play and several times throughout the day.
Semi-Auto and Pump guns only.
Goggles must remain on at all times when you are on the field. You will receive one warning, then be asked to leave if it persists.
No ramping, no rebound, no blind firing.
A Valid ID and Credit Card for the rental of any equipment.
All rental equipment MUST use field pain
No foul language
No moving or jumping and no climbing on anything.
Do not pickup paintballs off the ground
Dead men don't talk. When you are hit, you may not talk to your team or coach them
No dry firing in the staging or parking lot areas.
Long pants are required and long sleeve shirts are strongly recommended. MINORS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR BOTH LONG PANTS AND LONG SLEEVE SHIRT.
All players MUST complete an insurance waiver.
Players under 18 must have their parents or legal guardian sign a waiver. You may do so online at the link here. A new waiver is required per visit.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere on the property.
No physical contact.
Playland-approved paintballs only! Paintballs must be purchased from a paintball store. Receipt of purchase may be requested.
When you are hit, put your hands up and go to the dead box.
No blind firing
Airsoft Rules
Maximum speed is 350 FPS with .20 BBs. Snipers and spring rifles may go up to 400 FPS
Players are required to use biodegradable BBS.
A waiver is required for all players for each visit.
Pistols must remain in a holster or bag outside the designated playing area.
Eye protection is required in all designated playing areas
Do not enter or exit the playing areas without consent from your referee.
No foul language
No moving or jumping and no climbing on anything.
"Blind Man" is our emergency call. If your eye protection falls off or you are injured, yell "Blind Man" as loud as you can. If you hear the call "Blind Man", stop playing immediately. You must put your gun on safety and place them on the ground until the referee has deemed the situation safe and appropriate to start again or come off the field.

Barrel covers are required for all guns outside the designated playing area

Eye Protection Guidelines
Under 18
- Full seal eye, ear, and face protection required
- paintball masks recommended
- No gaps in eye protection larger than1/8inch
Over 18
- Full eye protection required - No shooting glasses
- Mesh lower or mouthguards are requiredto protect your teeth
No Exceptions!
